Meet Jodie Foster MS, RDN, CDN, NASM CPT
Your “Go to Nutrition and Fitness Coach”
Jodie is a registered dietitian/nutritionist and NASM certified personal trainer specializing in weight management.
With both a Bachelors and Master’s Degree in Nutrition from Hunter College, she has both extensive knowledge and experience in the fitness industry. Her personal philosophy is that health starts from the inside. Having the right balance between healthy eating, exercise and mental well-being is the key to a healthy lifestyle.
Jodie believes in the no one diet fits all approach and encourages practical sustainable goals to help her clients achieve long lasting results. She wants her clients to enjoy food and exercise while focusing on healthier choices rather than restrictions.
Jodie began her own fitness journey while in college. Starting out as a pre-med major, she discovered her passion for nutrition after taking several nutrition classes. Having been exposed to fitness her whole life; she began to connect the dots between incorporating healthy eating with working out. Her strong passion for nutrition and fitness along with her desire to helping others has been the driving force in pursuing a career in nutrition and fitness. Having firsthand experience in reaching her own nutrition and fitness goals motivated her in becoming a certified personal trainer through NASM. Striving to meet her clients high standards of quality and insuring results and satisfaction is a top priority.
Jodie has furthered her education by becoming certified in Level 1 and Level 2 Weight Management while continuing to take classes to enhance her skills as a personal trainer. In addition, she is an active member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, while maintaining memberships in the following groups:
Sports, Cardiovascular and Wellness Nutrition (SCAN)
Clinical Nutrition Management (CNM)
Nutrition Entrepreneurs (NE)
Weight Management (WM)
Medical Nutrition Practice Group (MNPG)
Jodie has been a past president of the Staten Island Council of Nutrition professionals.
